Clint Johnson

I'm Clint — a product engineer building software that makes healthcare work better.

I've been writing code since I was a kid with a TI-86 calculator, trading games and learning the basics of Assembly. That early curiosity turned into a career I love—engineering software that's useful, durable, and built for the real world.

I focus on healthcare: building systems that help data move smoothly and securely, even in highly regulated environments. I moonlight on new projects, work on a non profit, play golf with my golf enthusiast toddler, and love trying new espressos. I'm especially interested in interoperability—FHIR, HL7v2, and creating tools that make complex systems feel simple.

Career Journey

Early Programming

1999-2005

Started programming on a TI-86 calculator, learning Assembly and trading games with friends. This early curiosity sparked what would become a lifelong passion.

Outside Work

Outside of work, I'm a backyard BBQ enthusiast with a custom smoker and too many hot sauces to count. Weekends are for family golf outings where my son's swing is quickly outpacing mine, and experimenting with new coffee brewing methods.
